1. 치과 (dentistry)
2. 피부과 (dermatology)
3. 정신과 (psychiatry)
4. 성형외과 (plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery)

1. 치과: dentistry

• 치과 병원은 dental clinic 이라고 합니다. 병원을 뜻할 때는 clinic을 넣어주세요!

 

2. 피부과: dermatology

• 여기서 derm, derma는 피부를 뜻합니다. 
• 화장품 중 '더마' 라는 이름이 쓰이는 화장품이 많이 있습니다.

 

3. 정신과: psychiatry

• 정신과와 연관된 심리학은 영어로 psychology 라고 합니다.

 

4. 성형외과: plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery

• 여기서 cosmetic은 '화장의', '미용의' 라는 뜻입니다. 성형외과는 바로 미를 위한 수술을 하는 곳을 뜻하기도 하죠.

 

5. 이비인후과: ear-nose-and-throat department, otolaryngology

• 이비인후과는 줄여서 ENT 라고도 합니다.
